Time to Move on

After working on Yeta since July, I came to realize that this wasn't the greatest idea/implementation/fit. And that's alright. I will be now focusing all of my free time on building a product I am more excited about, with better tools, and the one I am much fitter to be building. If you would like to check out the early pre alpha build in progress, go to verysmartboard.web.app

Yeta downdates

Well, things aren't working out as I thought they would. Having difficulty acquiring traffic and users, which means I'm falling behind on the Founder University. Also getting a feeling that even with users, I would have difficulty monetizing/productizing. Don't think this endeavor is going to lead anywhere. Might let it be till next year, then figure something out.

Yeta updates

For those who don't know, I've been working on yeta.market . Recently I joined Founder University to learn more about how startups are built. Today we were divided into small groups where we had to briefly describe to each other our ideas, ala elevator pitches. There wasn't any prep. In each of the 4 groups, I tried to present Yeta quite differently in order to do A/B testing of sorts. Even though I actually got some interesting reactions in 2 of the groups, I left feeling quite anxious as I felt like my pitch still needs a lot of work. Phew.

How many 250 mile radius circles does it take to cover main land US?

Why would I need to know this you might wonder? Well, I have an access to an API that allows me to query data from a 250-mile radius around a given location. And I was wondering how many calls one would need to make to extract the whole US. Turns out, not that many - only 20 ish! This is great because making 20 calls every day is not suspicious!

SSL Certificates

Turns out, this whole time I had a bad SSL certificate that would only allow traffic on https www version. Whoops. Should be fixed now.
